The Alkek What-a-drome?
The Alkek Velodrome is a 333meter, concrete track. Its banking ranges from 33 degrees in the turns to 9 degrees in the straights. It was built in 1986 and has held everything from Junior Regionals to Olympic Qualifiers.

There are all types of racing, from the shortest distant (200m) to the longest (24hrs). Most of our racing ranges from 2-50 laps, with different events such as scratch races, points races, sprints, keirins, miss & outs, tempo races, and maddisons. Definitely racing for everyone!

We split our riders up into groups by category, age, and sex, so there's racing for everyone! Email me at cristinbikesalot@yahoo.com for more info about riding the track and racing!
